monday morning.

so i have a confession. i haven't read the last three books for book club. BUT i read his needs her needs, the entitlement trap, battle hymn of the tiger mother, and disney bedtime favorites...several times. so i'm hoping that still keeps me in book club :)

i've been busy with "other stuff". my paintings, my videos, my photography...there's just not enough hours in the day for creative expression.

so if you're into creative expression and you're bored enough to check his blog, you might enjoy this.

everything at once.

I know it’s nowhere in the ballpark of a good stop-motion clip, but it’s my first attempt. So completing it has been an accomplishment. After shifting through over 1000 photos, editing, checking, and re-editing, it's done. It’s not half good, but not half bad either.

Drew told me about this book called Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother. It's all about the differences/superiority of asian mothers vs. western mothers. He emailed me this article about the topic and it piqued my interest even more. Now, i think I'm going to have to read it--very fascinating.

a day at the magic kingdom.

so awhile ago i posted this sweet stop-motion video, Lost Things. well this one is like that but with some disney flair. the whole video is composed of photographs--real photos--real people. they're taken with a tilt n' shift lens which gives you the feeling you're looking at a model. it's super sweet!
